The House on the Hill

Our architecture had the opportunity to shoot this great house up on the Riviera with an amazing view. We shot it a couple of weeks ago, but were not happy with the first time round of images. Plus, it was so foggy we didn't get any of the amazing view in the shots! The homeowner DJ was nice enough to let us come back and reshoot (thanks again DJ!) and I think its safe to say we are much happier this time around. View included.

Before and After...

Our teacher encourages us to do before and after shoots of the spaces we photograph, the "before" being if someone walked in with a camera and took a BDE exposure of the space with no editing or styling. So here you see that version of the room, and then our final styled, lit, and photoshopped version of the image.

And Now For Some Interior Design...

Alright so these shots were done for an interior designer instead of the usual architects we have been working with lately. It's pretty unusual to find a Santa Fe style home in Santa Barbara amongst all the old spanish style ones, so it was a nice change.

Hahn Hall

More architecture shots... My group and I got the opportunity to photograph the newly renovated Hahn Hall at the prestige Music Academy of the West in Montecito. It is absolutely beautiifulll and the before and after pictures are just incredible.
